Unoas here! Big bust on DM body, test.

After a god damn long day(2 hours sitting on wrong buses to get to the customs office and 1 hour in train, plus very slow-going school hours), Unoas are finally home.
When I saw the pieces,first reaction was: "...So many pretty pics on the packets, so many pretty pieces of resin". As in the box were also my friend's three face plates, my first ever Unoa opening was little overwhelming.

But. I grabbed the big bust first and made an experiment.

If you are going to create Dollmore kid&Unoa -hybrid and have wondered if you could mod the unoa big bust to the body, check following pics.
Also DM-head on Unoa torso. And basic resin&head-compatibility pics

Messy room, I've been doing this and that from sewing to other crafts :P

Arms actually fit Unoa-torso better than DM ^^;

How the bust will reside without modding:

...I think my Momo will steal my Unoa body, when I get one for the face plates ._.

To make this possible, lower torso would have to be narrowed a lot and maybe even shortened, but I'm not sure if it would look okay . The navel, would it be at the right place? Or should you also make a whole new navel :P
...Just sculpt a new body, same effort.

DM's waist is way too thick.

In the pic below you may see the differences in resin. Unoa resin is more gray and little bit darker than DM. To me it looks dirty and ...dead compared to DM's nice pinky yellow tone. :<
But as you can see from this entry's pics, it depends of lightning whether you see the difference or not.
Blushing may be an option... My heads will propably have quite an amount of blushing.

The eyes are Orderhouse urethanes...too high dome for Unoas D: (But they're the eyes that fit Momo best by far as her eye sockets are deep and just strange)

Didn't bother to open the mouth as I don't have proper knives.

(those in upper line are my friend's. gonna have a trip to Hamina >:3)

Well. DM-body is a potential body for those creating hybrids. It poses amazingly, the resin match can be fixed easily and the face plates look natural.

But I will still get Unoa-body of my own when the next opportunity comes, it's just the number one MSD-body for me.

I just finished patterns for a coat! MSD(/Unoa big bust)-sized trench coat with full lining. 14 pieces and the smallest are very small x_x

But I got inspiration to finally sew something as Unoas are nearly here(and the big bust!) and because dollar/euro exchange rate is so nice atm that I could order some doll-thingies.
Namely Migidoll order period is nearing and I could snatch a head.
If not the normal-colored heads (two weeks!), then I could try for the suntanned(in June).
...And now I notice that the payment can be done until June 20 so I have plenty of time.

But only if I manage to sew at least two of these coats for sale and/or something else. I won't spend my savings to a head I wasn't going to buy in ages. : D

I just felt important to announce that yeah, Migidoll fever has struck me too.

Sorry I'm rambling here but this one problem makes me anxious.

Momo-mold is too young looking for the character I've in my mind. Maybe. So I'm asking you, how old she looks/could look like to you?
or should I just go and get Narae....
Right now she is dressed in very childlike clothing, but that's gonna change. I'm just wondering about the potential.
I don't want to change plans I have for Momo to one of the Unoas.
Momos are already underrated and I love mine dearly. I just want that my photostories will be believable. And I don't want to discard my story.

Anyone else ever had this kind of problems, or do you just make the character after a doll? Is it just plain ambitious to get a doll to fit a character? : D

P.S. It's amazing weather outside, warmmm~ Wanna go outside but have no reason to do so ;_;

Pics! But warning, nothing new; old wig old clothes old face-up etc. Just testing my photographing skills when it comes to... pics like these. With no plot or anything. Edited a lot less than my usual photos. I'm picking up some tips from my photography class, like changing aperture. Before I didn't even know I could do such a thing with my camera.

I'm just hoping somebody starts a group order to DollGa before 30th. Preferably tomorrow.
Very unlikely but as I don't have own Paypal and my order is just one wig... ._- damn EMS.

But uhm. Been lazy, still. But as my Unoas arrive I at least will get the body modded.
I would like to order the wig so that I won't forget my old girl when the new ones join the house.

I was very inspired the other day and wrote some background info for my doll characters. But can't make photostories of what i wrote before I have the bigger girl.
Poor Unoa(s) do(es)n't have part in the story. They/she'll be just a backdrop. Very pretty one though.

Where could I find a nice black long straight wig. Hmm...

Just as my Unoa(s) will have all the mohair I can get my hands to, Momo will get a black fiber wig. But longer and nicer than this(just a test). She has Asian eyes so why not? Or the wig could be dark dark dark brown... or some gyaru-like...
It may not show in the pic but irl she reminds me of Rihanna with that wig. ._.

I really should come up with a good name for her. Some name which goes along with the Unoas' names and the story.
Maybe should have a look at some name encyclopedia.

When I get the wig(and name) for Momo I can make the first story shoot of her. A bit late huh?

This just doesn't fit the new style I'm creating. or gonna create, anyway.

Blonde MSD(7-8") wig.

Because it's in amazing condition considering all the ruckus it has been in, I think the price would be like 19€ including shipping and the packing materials. Price of a new wig is according to Google 19,5~ euros but I also paid the posts to Finland etc. Feel free to bargain and if I have any change to deliver personally the price would be of course less.

Had a nice meet-up today! Thanks to people who were there :3 Unfortunately I forgot my camera and my girl didn't even have a shirt(let's just say my meet-up outfit -sewing yesterday was a big FAIL) but as she spend most of the time without her own head and clothes.... No need for a shirt.

I can't wait for pictures! For those interested, we put Unoa faceplate to my girl's body(Dollmore kid girl) and yum. The skintone match was great and the head looked very natural on the body.

What a good thing because I'm going to order a least one faceplate from this month's pre-order. Maybe two but just feel kind of silly to order the normal faceplate now when/if I someday get it with the body. So just thinking about ordering the slumber(dozing? what's the name) one. Hmm. And I'm only interested in one of the girls, not both. ;3

Oh god I'm turning to some kind of Unoa freak. I don't want to ignore my girl but it just feel just now that the only thing running my doll-interest is this preorder and designing doll thins in general ;_;

I've been too dead too long.
Basically after I moved, my doll-hobby died. Now, according LJ, 23 weeks later I had inspration to do _something_.
Thanks to Hunaja's meet-up invitation *heart*

After cut the 'dress talk' and else.

These are the two dresses I've been working on lately. The main task is to make a dress of that silver fabric. I was afraid to start making anything of it without patterns -> let's make a test piece out of the green one!
But they both look cute enough to be the 'real one' ;_;
I will make two then...

This dress is going to be part of the outfit for the meet-up. I wonder where I could find some cute shoes to go with it.

Btw, I changed her feet yesterday. To the Dollzone ones I bought some time ago. Dollmore feet are so big that I had problems getting shoes on D: Now shoes fit but her standing ability isn't that good. I had to attach the feet with home-made s-hooks, namely iron wire. Duh.

When I have all school dead lines behind I may have even more doll-inspiration. Hopely.

I'm sorry for people in doll businesses and especially for those who have commissioned me. I feel like crap about myself. I don't know why I haven't managed to kick myself into sewing.
Maybe I should be an arse and accuse school of my lack-of-interest in sewing. And it shouldn't be like that because sewing for other people isn't a matter of willing >_> Just...sorry! I try to get things right.

My other doll-affairs have been a little bit dry lately. Only that my friend got her new boy and I should buy a girlfriend for that spesific boy soon. We have been talking about all coming photoshoots and props we should get and so on. At least I'm not totally out-of-doll-world.

Yea. Kii changed sex _again_. Surreal it is. But Kii should get home in November. If I feel like ordering her just to bring her home to not-get-clothes and attention ;_;

I have officially fallen in love with Supia. But as every love, this also brings problems. T_T
I will think about those problems more when the next order period comes.
Argh, why loves and likings have to be so complicated?

So I moved and now I'm using somebody's internet. It's WLAN so I just connected....wondering who's paying for this. At least he/she hasn't come here to complain so I'm using this as long as I can! Then I maybe will buy my own. Only not-so-nice thing is that the times when I can connect are random. Yesterday was no-internet-day for me.
So I have more time to do other things!

Tomorrow my friend will come here. We'll put doors on my brand-new Ikea shelf(with he cute bg) and assemble my brand-new bed! I'm going to love this room<3 First time in my life I can decorate myself. And he project is going well. Small and cute and white and _victorian_ *heart*. After I get doors for my fabric-self I can start to sew my commissions. Sorry I haven't even started those yet but this move has slowered things and I still have to buy some decent school clothes, get a hair cut and... maybe school books too! Okay now I sound like a dork.

p.s. I have a creepy room mate. She has written about me to her LJ and Irc-Gallery's diary that I'm some shy little "91" girl who doesn't have a life or something :< It feels kind of bad. I know that I sit quiet in my room most of the time but you don't have to tell people things you don't know. Still I think everything's going to get solved once school starts. We're in same school :'D Yep, I'm a stalker and proud of it!
My other room mate is... nice. She's much older than me(like the other girl but more) and move's out at the end of this month. She can't pronounce Finnish the best but that makes it more comfortable for me; Im not the most mature speaker.

End of the blabbering! We will also talk and drool about dorries tomorrow with my friend. And I get to know if she ordered her new doll today 83 How exciting.

But I redid the face up. Now Calico looks like a stray cat(with stray hair on the wig). I hate those lashes but what can you do when there's nothing else. I'm wondering if I'm brave enough to go to the tomorrow's meet-up. I haven't sewn anything new.

It's shimmering~ I went kind of crazy in one point and just picked silver acrylic. :P It's the only thing I like in this face-up.

I had a minimeet with tsukie_san yesterday. Really mini, we just went to the café and switched some clothes, eyes and blabbed about things.

Crappy Photoshopping. But Calico wearing a dress and hand-accessories made by Tsuki. There's just one good thing in my girl's face up...it goes nicely with all kind of clothing.

Next week I have to start packing o_o I wonder what my roommates will think about this strange hobby.

Where in the hell I'm supposed to find Elfdoll reminisce Wu -head?
If I understood right those are extra-limited.
But but.

If Kii's girlfriend is going to be Elfdoll Sooah/Soah... then I should get some sculpt which looks as realistic. Even Luts boys look akward with Rainy girls because of their animu noses. The only boy sculpt from Elfdoll which I like is Wu(thanks to Korone's Sora :'D<3). BUT I want him to have sleepy-head. Sleepy-heads are must if I'm going to make one of my darling characters as a doll.

And we're desperately looking for Sooah/Soah reminisce. There's one in DoA for good price now. *u* let's see if the offer lasts two weeks more.

Anybody want to commission me?
I got confirmation of my student-apartment today and now it's two week and I'll move to Hyvinkää, near Helsinki, our capital city.
The only problem is that I have no furniture at all, no bed or anything. So I would like to get some extra money to buy a mat and a desk etc. You can help me by commissioning x3 (or you can by me furniture)

Under the cut.

By far I have only this dress set. It includes the dress, blouse, bloomers and a ribbon you can tie on your child's neck or hair.
I could also make blouses separately.
There are some modifications I'm going to do to the blouse and bloomers whe I sew your pieces, but overall they would be quite same.

fabrics will be whatever you want, I can do all colors. But it depends on what I can find from our(poor) fabric stores. I know few good places though and instead of a lace which with you tie the dress on your doll I can sew a ribbon.

Now I apologise my rusty English.

Price would be something like 40 euros. I'm not sure about that yet.
But the blouse is quite complicated and I can easily sew this whole set for many many hours.

And because I have bad memory and I want to note you before I forget; her name's Calico. I got that name from my dream :o I wonder how it got there.

How do these pics show up on your computers? I have a laptop now so everything seems either darker or lighter than on my old computer >_>;

But one thing is good, I'm going to be rich(...or rich) soon and I can order Kii for X-Mas! I don't know about his body though.

I've been too inactive. Oh well. I've had so much going on, school ended, I've been selling my mom's records(which is a quite big job to do) etc.

Today I finally had time to make a new face up for my girl.
I dunno.
I want to order the new head so badly. Asha makes me sad because she looks like a lamb. I want a cat.
But the postages.
And I can't even use MSC. It came out shiny. Why??? Testors didn't. Maybe the wind has to do something with this.
But I doubt I'll face up that Asha head a new time. Waste of eyelashes.

I managed to sew a skirt! Okay...It isn't even half done yet but one of the most complicated parts is done! ~The ruffle of the hem~
And the fabric is sooo pretty (´u`)~

[Kii-rant] Okay. Some of you may know about my future-boy. Key. Some don't but now you will.
He's the first 'character' I have thought as a doll. Because of him I even started to think about having a doll.
But since last August(...or when was it?) I have had a problem. Which doll is suited for Kii's image? In one point he turned into girl but...thank god it wasn't permanent :D
And to add one problem more he needs to fit his girlfriend. Possible Elfdoll Soaf/Sooah.
The list of dolls which were/are going to be Kii:

1. DOD (Tender) Too
2. CP Dreaming Vampire Shiwoo (^SD)
3. Souldoll Vernejet
4. Some K-Doll
5. CP Bliss.

Notice the last? Yea, it's the biggest problem. I HATE THE SENIOR BODY TT_____TT But real skin + CP Normal skin= Ugly.
So I've searched and searched for alternative body. In my whole doll-history I haven't seen a boy body I like. So modding a girl body into boy's is a one possibility for me.
But who's? Normal girl bodies are way too short when we think that Key should be in scale with his girlfriend.
Dollshe girl body? Skin possible? But even DS girl heads are huge compared to Delf heads... Senior heads are bigger but are they big enough? And I hate the legs.
Model Doll girl body? Way too curvy. And god knows how big their butts are. Plus necks are verrry thin. Plus they don't sell even this body separately.

Gawh.
My luck that I'll need to think about Kii maybe at Autumn or before Christmas. No rush.

I so need to order the new head soon or I'm going crazy. I even missed today's doll picnic. (,___,)

Okay okay I've been lazy but at least I'm not dead.
I've even something to show and when I get the new face up(with lashes!) done everything'll be smooth from then on. I hope.

Colorful or not but at least the first is cute and scary at the same time. :D

I didn't remember to ~~snatch~~ take my hand crafts' school project's white fabric from school today so I'll have to bear without it until next monday. It would be nice if my memory would serve me even once in a month because my own white runs out pretty soon. ;_;
